Mariam Ali is a first-year WAVE PhD student in Computer Science at University of Limerick.

She holds a degree in Software Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. Her research focuses on Formal Methods and low-code software development.

She is actively involved in multiple research projects within her team and contributes to teaching as a teaching assistant. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Mariam gained three years of industry experience in software development, working on the design, development, and maintenance of software systems.
